We have an opportunity for you to join the team as the Finance Intern! The Finance Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn about the different aspects of the department. The Finance Intern will work directly with various members of the finance department to gain experience in a variety of areas including financial analysis, accounting, auditing, banking and payroll. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to understand other areas of our business operations and the role the finance department plays in the company. 

“A day in the life of the Finance Intern looks like:”

• Assisting with the reconciliation of account receivables, payables, banks, and inventories. 
• Assist in the posting of payroll journal entries. 
• Assist with projecting ROI analysis.
• Assist with KPI dashboarding.
• Data entry into the sales tracking system (Margin Miner)
• Data entry into finance software (Great Plains) 
• Assisting in monitoring customer accounts, collection activity and allocating of payments.
• Assist in counting of full-service coin and bills and posting into our route accounting software.

What does it take to be the Finance Intern?

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED and currently in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance at an accredited college. 
• Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
