Our first interaction with Gillette Pepsi happened because of a personal visit to our stores and corporate office in La Crosse, WI. It was a face to face personal touch that sparked the start of our relationship.  Many companies on the DSD side of our business have the claim to fame that they're "full service" and that benefit alone will prove their support of your small business. With Pepsi Gillette it's "full service" but it's a different "full service". They get to know you, your business, your employees, the communities they supply product in, as well as put your business on a fair playing field when going to market! Their requirements are fair and even across the industry. Expectations are achievable and following them will make you profitable! When I meet once a year with their competition and the question arises: "why does Pepsi get so much space in your aisles?" The answer always is: "They were here to discuss my needs last week, the week before, as well as the week before that and so on! "It's NOT just a once a year visit asking for more space. In other words, I feel Pepsi Gillette cares about and understands my small family business!

I first worked with Gillette Pepsi when I was transferred to the store. The first thing that stood out to me was the fact that the merchandisers were the cream of the crop. Liz M. is one of the best Pepsi merchandisers I've had the pleasure to work with. She is always timely when coming in to servicing our store and is on top of pricing. She always lets us know when there are special display offerings and is on top of taking care of any discounts that we are getting. Talking to sales reps are always easy when they are on top of pricing as it makes our job easier. The company in general is very easy to deal with and are very courteous no matter who I am dealing with. I would definitely recommend Gillette Pepsi to any vendor who asked me.

We originally offered Coke products at our first location. Over time, service calls and on time deliveries were becoming a problem. So, I called Pepsi in Mankato to see what services and products they offered. Bill came up and 13 years later I can say "it was one of the best business decisions I have made". Since that call, we have opened 5 other restaurants/business in town and have offered Pepsi products in all of them. When it comes to service, sales, and products in regards to beverages... It's pretty hard to compete with Pepsi in Mankato.

When a soda fountain doesn't work... Pepsi will come in hours... When a coffee machine doesn't work at 6am on a Saturday morning... Pepsi will be there to get it up and running same day. The service department at Pepsi is the best I have seen. They are knowledgeable, timely, and most importantly professional.

Bill has been one of the best salesmen I have ever been around. He truly cares about the product, but most importantly he cares about the customers. He has never hesitated when we run out of a product or need help getting caught up on inventory, he is always there to help.

True story... A salesmen from Coke - Owatonna stopped in a few months ago... Asked if we where looking to change soda. I said, "We are extremely happy with Pepsi." After talking for a few minutes, the salesperson seemed like someone I could work with. He said that the issues we had experienced with Coke years ago had been addressed and they would offer service as good as Pepsi does. I told them, "stop back when you hear that Bill has retired and we can talk."
